How to build in a few hours apart on your honeymoon without it feeling like a snub
There's an unspoken assumption that a honeymoon means doing absolutely everything together, and for most of the trip, sure. But if one of you wants a spa morning and the other wants to go diving, forcing both of you into whichever activity you can agree on together often means one person enjoying it less than they would have on their own.
A few hours apart mid-trip, each doing something the other genuinely isn't interested in, tends to make the shared parts of the trip better, not worse, since you're both coming back to each other with something new to talk about rather than having spent the whole day compromising on an activity neither of you loved fully.
How to actually plan this in
Pick one or two mornings or afternoons across the trip, not every day, and agree on them in advance rather than deciding in the moment (which tends to feel more like abandonment and less like a plan). A resort with enough on-site activity variety, or a destination with a walkable town center, makes this much easier to pull off without either of you needing to arrange separate transport.
